Is there a way to hide/remove the 'Remove Results' from the search results? It's confusing to end users...

End Users should not see that if module security was set correctly. Only users who have module edit or admin/host should see that functionality.

What exactly does it do? Does it remove the URL itself, or just the keyword/URL combination?

Sets the item to IsDeleted = True so that it will not appear in search results.
