Dear Venexus Team

I just wanted to say thank you for what was originally just a really good search engine but has become a fantastic suite of powerful applications!

Initially I was drawn to Venexus for your search engine’s capabilities. Our site has over 3000 pdf’s and the DNN search wasn’t up to the task. After discovering the added bonus of being able to search child portals as well, I was sold. I have found the search aggregator to be extremely powerful and flexible as I’m sure you already knew.

Since becoming a customer I have been extremely impressed with the agility with witch support issues are dealt with. I often get myself into trouble. But with every reported issue I get myself into, your team is there with a new, more ‘fool proof’ release. Often only a day or two later! Your team works the problem with me until resolved and that is so valued. Support I get as a customer of other 3rd party DNN apps has been good in my opinion but the kind of personal, timely support I get from Venexus is definitely in another league.

3 days after launch our site ground to a halt. The DNN support channels are excellent but I wasn’t willing to risk waiting for a forum post that may not get answered for a day or two. It was my past support experience with Venexus that made me think of you first when I needed piece of mind that help was on the way. I purchased a support plan and within a few hours we were back in business. Not only was our site restored but Jeff took the time to show us how and why it ran into trouble and provided insight, code and guidelines for avoiding future issues.  It was a real relief for me having DNN experts working the problem with me. Support since that time has been equally as good if not as urgent. I have gained a lot of tips and tricks along the way that I wouldn’t have otherwise discovered.

Product evolution has been something that I have also really noticed. Man, do you guys move fast! It seems like every month or so you come out with a new feature or module that just makes life so much easier. The recent manage queue and manage domains feature additions in Seamus are a huge bonus. Its like you know what I want even before I do. Kudos on producing relevant, process oriented additions to already great tools.

Some suggestions I do have for the future would be in the area of promoting your products and qa/ ease of use work. It appears to me that over the past few months you have taken steps to shore up these areas though. Initially it didn’t really occur to me how great some of your other modules are. I actually didn’t even realize that I would have access to all of them. I thought I was just buying the search and seamus. Initially I dabbled with the other tools but found them unclear as to how they would benefit me and forgot about them. It wasn’t until much later that I began to pick them up one at a time and really see how great they are. I guess it was a case of too much to absorb all at once. I did notice that your documentation on these has really improved. The other issue being the qa and ease of use I think you are addressing ok. In a perfect world no one would get any errors but I understand you can’t test for every scenario and I’m happy to keep providing as a test case. I think these tools are quite a bit more complex than most DNN modules out there. Ease of use you have definitely been addressing with the added features and modules so not as much of a problem there any more.

In ending, as a customer, Venexus has been my absolute favorite vendor for DNN modules and support. Can’t wait to see what advances you come up with next!" (www.manchesternh.gov)
