Hello again,

Is there a way to control the search order for a specific keyword. Currently i want one specific page to be always on top when searching for a specific word ( in fact the search term is equal to the page title, but the page is listed third ).

And another one...

On the search results page there is a place holder [Title] for the title of the container. Is there a placeholder for the title of the page ( PageTitle ).

Thanks in advance

Yes. You can edit the item using IndexItem module and add keywords (must be enabled). These keywords are checked before the fulltext index if they exist and will appear higher. You can also edit the rank of the item and it will appear higher in the results.

DNN core modules like the Text/HTML module get indexed separately from the page. Your query is returning the module, rather than the page since it ranked higher.

Ok, I see that the changing the search rating also changes the order.

My question is - is there a way for the admin to manually change the rating, if we want a certain search result to be moved on top. For example if the average rating is 3.8, can i make it 5 so it will be put on top.

There is ratings, then there is the rank. Only admin can change the rank within IndexItem, which is cumulative of rating AND voting.
